Prof. Alessio Malizia holds a PhD in Computer Science from Sapienza University of Rome.
He joined the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pisa in 2021. He is Head of Digital Humanities and Head of the Data-Driven Design Lab. His previous experience includes the University of Hertfordshire as Professor of User Experience Design (UX), the Brunel University London, and the Universidad Carlos III, Madrid. His interests focus on Human-Centred Systems and Design Fiction. In his role as full professor at the University of Pisa, he works on developing novel approaches and attracting funding to improve scientific methods to study Human-AI Interaction.
