Daniele Gambetta is a PhD student at the National Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence for Society, University of Pisa. He has a degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Data Science and Business Informatics. His research focuses on the social impact of artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on the linguistic aspects of Large Language Models (LLM). During the 3rd year of his PhD, he spent six months at the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, where he studied the effects of model collapse in the context of LLM autophagy.
