NaN – Not a Number
It was held with great success within the Festival della Robotica, offering to the public a unique and immersive sound experience.

The human voice of Anaïs Del Sordo, in constant dialogue with artificial intelligence agents, managed by Alberto Maria Gatti, has created a sound flow in continuous transformation, where every sound, breath and vocal nuance was reinterpreted in real time. The audience witnessed a real symbiosis between organic and synthetic, in a performative environment amplified by a resonant proscenium made of metal, glass and paper.

After the performance, the debate led by Filippo Chiarello, director of the Living Lab DETAILLs, opened a space for reflection on the role of creative feedback and the evolution of co-creation between the man and the machine.

This project was born within the framework of the Artistic Residency “Re-sounding Bodies” at IRCAM in Paris and presented as a preview during the Forum 2025.

It is the result of a research work that investigates the interaction between voice, body and sound space through multimodal composition practices and the exploration of the audio-tactile relationship in sound perception
